Richard and Joyce have been deeply rooted in local church ministry throughout their lives. Richard is the steady hand—always ready to cook, serve, and step in wherever there’s a need. Joyce brings a gift of connection.  She doesn’t just complete projects—she brings people into them. With a gift for turning chaos into collaboration, she remembers birthdays, draws the quiet ones into conversation, and helps everyone see the big picture as something possible, even beautiful.

In 2016, they answered the call to missions in Cuba, where they witnessed severe poverty and committed themselves to helping local pastors, church members, and families. Over the years, they facilitated countless projects—from building small community centers to delivering food and medical supplies—and celebrated the greatest reward: seeing many come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
